This was helpful up to Version 63.03 for me. Then FireFox removed the option to manually update. Starting with V. 64.0 you get the nags telling you it is out of date, and cannot get rid of them. I update FireFox once a month on a schedule, MY schedule.
On Windows and Linux. Open your Firefox browser. Near the top right corner, click the menu button ( ), click help ( ) and select About Firefox.; The About Mozilla Firefox window will appear and the version number is listed underneath the Firefox name.
